So I took her home for some "mommy love" medicine & it worked a little but she was still fussy. We took her temperature & it was 99.6. I gave her some Tylenol & it helped with the fever but she still wasn't her normal happy, giggly self - even though she tried to be by flashing her little smile her & there. So she cried a little & I cried right a long with her a couple times. It's so frustrating not knowing what is going on & her looking at me, wanting me to make her feel better and me not being able to.
All in all she slept ok last night. Only woke up a couple times coughing but went back to sleep. She did get up around 2 & again at 4:30 and needed soothed back to sleep. I fed her at the 4:30 wake up & she went to sleep pretty easy.
Today Kyle & I took Laura to the Dr for her 4 month shots/check-up which was already scheduled. But when we got there, the Dr checked her over & said she had a double ear infection. One side is worse than the other. I had no clue. I was watching for the signs of her grabbing at her ears, etc but she never did any of that. So he decided not to give her shots yet & instead gave her some medicine & we have to come back in 2 weeks for the shots.
He have her some medicine for her ear infections & one for her cough/runny nose.
My poor baby.. I feel so bad for her. We are going to start the meds ASAP & get this over with!
She did weigh 13 pounds 1 ounce & was 25" long. Head was 42cm.
Doctor said she was right on track.
